Equal Opportunities Policy Statement
In particular CSKX aims to ensure that no potential or actual employee receives more or less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, colour, ethnic or national origins, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, disability or religious beliefs, and that individuals are selected on the basis of their relevant merits, abilities and studio needs. It is the duty of all studio employees and members to accept their personal responsibility for the practical application of the Policy but at the same time CSKX acknowledges that specific responsibilities fall upon the supervisory staff and those involved in administration and personal matters. To ensure this Policy is consistently applied coordinating responsibilities have been assigned to the Studio Manager and Secretary, who will monitor the operation of the Policy for both employees and studio holders. Any employee or member who believes that he or she has been inequitably treated within the scope of the Policy should raise the matter with with the Studio Manager or Secretary. Any job or studio applicant who believes that he or she has been inequitably treated may write to the Directors who will investigate the complaint. The Directors will not tolerate unfair discrimination against any members of its staff or studio holders, by any of its employees or members, or other persons working for or on behalf of CSKX, or visitors to the Studios. The Directors are committed to making this Policy properly effective. | |
